Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Diagnostic Imaging Technologist to work in our state-of-the-art medical imaging department. As a Medical Imaging Professional, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining complex medical imaging equipment, preparing patients for exams, and producing high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain medical imaging equipment, including ultrasound, CT, and MRI machines
  • Prepare patients for exams, including explaining procedures and positioning patients for optimal image quality
  • Produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes, ensuring accurate and precise results
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical imaging technologies and techniques, participating in ongoing education and training
Requirements
  • Current certification as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in medical imaging, preferably in a travel or per diem setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends
