Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill newborns, utilizing evidence-based practices and clinical expertise.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring seamless coordination and communication.
  • Promote a culture of safety, quality, and excellence, actively participating in quality improvement initiatives and advocating for best practices.
  • Mentor and educate colleagues on advanced nursing skills, techniques, and research findings, fostering a community of lifelong learners.
  • Stay current with industry developments, attending conferences, workshops, and online courses to expand knowledge and expertise.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Nursing or related field (e.g., Neonatal NP, CRNA).
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in neonatal critical care, preferably in an academic or research setting.
  • Valid Florida RN license and active certification in pediatric or neonatal nursing.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and any additional applicable life support certifications for Healthcare Providers.
  • National Pediatric Resuscitation Certification (NPRC) required.
