Job Summary:

As a Computed Tomography Technologist in our Premier Health team, you will be responsible for performing computed tomography (CT) procedures using proper techniques and administration of contrast media. You will work under your scope of practice and in accordance with your certificate/licensure in the administration of medications, operation of equipment, and venipuncture. Your duties will include coordinating patient flow and the activities of the CT scanner, exercising professional judgment in the performance of duties to maintain equipment in good working condition, and covering multiple locations and/or performing procedures in other imaging modalities based on departmental needs. May have on-call responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Independently performs computed tomography (CT) procedures using proper techniques and administration of contrast media.

Works under your scope of practice and in accordance with your certificate/licensure in the administration of medications, operation of equipment, and venipuncture.

Coordinates patient flow and the activities of the CT scanner.

Exercises professional judgment in the performance of duties to maintain equipment in good working condition.

Covers multiple locations and/or performs procedures in other imaging modalities based on departmental needs.

Requirements:

Current certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) in Radiography or Computed Tomography (CT) from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).

Current licensure as a Radiologic Technologist in the state of Ohio.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make sound judgments in emergency situations.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work effectively in a team environment and provide excellent patient care.
