Overview

At PHS Bio-Medical Services, we are seeking a skilled Cath Lab/IR Technologist to join our team of dedicated professionals. As a key member of our cardiovascular lab team, you will assist physicians in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety.

Responsibilities

Under the general direction of the physician, you will scrub procedures, monitor physiologic and hemodynamic data, and ensure the procedure room is adequately prepared. You will also participate in departmental staff meetings, performance improvement activities, and the training of new staff. Additionally, you will assist in all aspects of invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures.

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:
  • ARRT-R and license as required by State or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) required.
  • Previous experience in a Cardiovascular Lab; preferred.
  • Cardiovascular technologist training program with emphasis in invasive cardiology and hemodynamic monitoring preferred.
  • BCLS (AHA) required upon hire and maintain current.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS); required within 30 days of hire.
  • Proficient computer skills.
