Job Overview

ABLEMKR is looking for experienced Low Voltage Technicians to enhance our operations. The successful candidate will possess expertise in various cabling systems, including Cat 5e/6a, coaxial, fiber optics, CATV, and MATV. This role entails the installation and termination of both single mode and multimode fiber optic cables, utilizing connectors such as ST, SC, LC, and MTRJ.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute the installation and termination of low voltage cabling systems, including Cat 5e/6a, coaxial, fiber optics, CATV, and MATV.
  • Perform installation and termination of single mode and multimode fiber optic cables, incorporating ST, SC, LC, and MTRJ connectors.
  • Diagnose and rectify issues within low voltage cabling systems.
  • Interpret and analyze blueprints, schematics, and diagrams.
  • Keep precise records of all work conducted.

Compensation: $18 - $28/hr based on experience

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in Low Voltage Cabling Systems for Technician Level 1.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Low Voltage Cabling Systems for Technician Level 2 and Senior Technician roles.
  • Demonstrated capability to supervise a team of up to 10 technicians for Senior Technician positions.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations.
  • Ability to work autonomously or collaboratively within a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A valid driver's license and dependable transportation.

Preferred Certifications or Training:

  • Current BICSI Certified Technician or equivalent experience.
  • Certificates from at least two (2) to five (5) industry-specific manufacturer training courses.
  • Knowledgeable in Category 5e/6/6a, coaxial cables, and testing equipment.
