Shell Technician

We are seeking a skilled Shell Technician to join our team at QPS Employment Group. As a Shell Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of shell equipment.

• Read and understand routers and shell processes
• Wash and inspect clusters prior to shell process
• Hand dip cluster in slurry and coating, and dry per router instructions
• Operate robot by input of code into system from routers
• Mix slurries as defined on routers
• Record viscosity of slurry tanks, make adds based on results and maintain levels
• Quality inspect between coating and dry times
• Prepare clusters for autoclave
• General maintenance to shell equipment
• Perform general housekeeping
• Learn, observe, and apply safety/quality policies
• Perform all duties in safe manner at all times
• Observe quality process throughout all phases of operations

• Experience in a manufacturing environment is desired
• Attention to detail for inspection purposes
• Ability to communicate with all team members
• Able to lift up to 55lbs
• Able to stand for long periods of time
• Use of hand tools
• Must be able to wear respirator
