Key ResponsibilitiesUnder general supervision, the Pediatric Rehabilitation Specialist will:
- Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans tailored to each child's needs.
- Utilize appropriate therapeutic techniques and equipment to facilitate recovery.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Educate patients and families about treatment processes and expected outcomes.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the department.
Minimum Requirements:
- Certification as a Pediatric Physical Therapist.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Essential Skills:
- Strong analytical and clinical skills to assess and address patient needs effectively.
- Excellent communication abilities to interact with patients and their families.
- Technical proficiency in operating therapeutic equipment.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical stamina to perform duties that require standing, lifting, and positioning patients.
