Job Description

The Swift Group is seeking a skilled Cloud Network Architect to join our team. As a key member of our cloud services department, you will play a crucial part in designing, implementing, and optimizing our cloud network services.

We are looking for an individual with a strong understanding of cloud technologies, networking protocols, and security measures essential for maintaining high availability and performance in cloud environments. You will collaborate with various teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud services, optimize network infrastructure to support application performance and reliability, and troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues.

A successful candidate must possess excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams are also essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement secure cloud networking solutions that migrate on-prem systems to AWS.
  • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
  • Configure and maintain routers, switches, and other networking hardware.
  • Ensure network security through effective management of firewalls and VPNs.


Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience working with cloud networking, commercial cloud platforms, or similar role, particularly in the Defense & Intelligence Communities.
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
  • Familiarity with networking protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, VPNs, and firewall technologies.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
