We are seeking a dedicated PRN Multi-Modality Imaging Technologist to help us achieve our objectives.
Job Summary and QualificationsThe Multi-Modality Imaging Technologist is responsible for performing both invasive and non-invasive imaging procedures on a diverse patient population according to departmental needs. This role requires the application of sterile techniques when necessary, operation of sophisticated imaging equipment, and assistance to physicians as required. Continuous education, acquired skills, and experience will be utilized effectively. This position operates with a degree of independence to deliver high-quality imaging studies. The Multi-Modality Technologist is expected to work proficiently in at least two qualifying modalities as directed by departmental leadership to fulfill specific departmental requirements. Responsibilities include all tasks related to primary and post-primary imaging modalities, including Diagnostic, CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, and Ultrasound, as well as Mammography and Bone Densitometry.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JCERT) program.
- License: ARRT registered with post-primary certification in at least one additional qualifying discipline, or must obtain registry and maintain current certification on the credentialing website for specified imaging modalities within designated timeframes.
- Experience: Previous experience in a multi-disciplined Radiology Department is required.
- Preferred Experience: A minimum of two years in an advanced imaging discipline is preferred.
