Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Full-Time

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at Westminster Oaks. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality nursing care to our residents, ensuring their dignity, comfort, and well-being.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing routine daily nursing care to assigned residents, including assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, transferring, ambulating, toileting, and other resident needs. You will also be responsible for ensuring a high level of hygiene is maintained in the room, taking vital signs, and reporting observations and any changes in condition to the nurse.

Essential Functions:
  • Comply with all applicable rules, policies, standards, and guidelines related to employment with Westminster Services and its communities.
  • Assist patients/residents with ADLs, including bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, transferring, ambulating, toileting, and other resident needs.
  • Ensure that beds are made, trash has been removed, and a high level of hygiene is maintained in the room.
  • Take vital signs and report observations and any changes in condition to the nurse.
  • Practice infection prevention and control measures in compliance with Federal, State, and facility requirements.
  • Document in CNA ECS flow-sheet promptly, accurately, and comprehensively.
  • Make routine and frequent rounds to ensure safety precautions and equipment are in place and in working order.
Qualifications:
  • Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant in accordance with the laws of Florida.
  • One year of long-term care experience or working with handicapped or developmentally disabled adults.
  • Must be CPR Certified.
