Cabins Manager

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Cabins Manager to join our team at Getaway House Inc. in Roscoe, NY/Downsville area. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional guest experiences and leading a high-performing team.

The Cabins Manager will work closely with the Assistant General Manager and General Manager to support the success of the team and the happiness of our guests. Key responsibilities include:

• Delight Our Guests
  • Provide excellent customer service by monitoring the Outpost for any potential issues that could disrupt guest interactions and experience.
  • Ensure every cabin is perfectly staged for every guest including cleaning and staging the interior of the cabin (bathroom, kitchen, dining, and bed area), cleaning and staging the exterior of the cabin (picnic table and fire pit area), doing laundry, and placing welcome items/provisions.
  • Perform inspections on cleaned cabins to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness are being met for our guests.
  • Create and execute ideas to surprise and delight guests; aim to make every interaction personal, meaningful, and memorable.
• Captain The Team
  • Steward the culture as a natural leader; operate with integrity and sound judgment, always respect your team and our guests, and hold yourself accountable.
  • Support daily initiatives such as team-focused training, staging assignments, glitch resolutions, inventory management, and outpost improvement projects.
  • Be willing to do any job that you ask of your team; work together, consider all points of view, and share the same mission.
  • Ensure all team members are adhering to standard operating procedures and Postcard Cabins values.
• Own The Operation
  • Test new ideas, measure the results, and embrace honest feedback in the spirit of always improving day-to-day operations.
  • Prepare for your shift by loading your personal vehicle with cleaning kits, cleaning equipment, welcome materials, and linen bags; be sure the rest of the team follows your lead.
  • Perform end-of-shift duties such as unloading supplies, cleaning and organizing back of house area, and unloading and sorting dirty linen.
  • Adhere to Postcard Cabins' safety policies at all times to maintain a safe work environment.

Requirements and Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience supervising a part-time population of 10+ top performers.
• Experience in a guest or customer-facing industry (1+ years).
• Ability to utilize technology and apps to work more efficiently.
• A lover of the outdoors; happy to work outside during all seasonal weather conditions.
• 18 years of age or older.
