Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team at Emergency Vehicle Group, Inc. in a dynamic role that involves conducting complex repairs and maintenance on heavy equipment and emergency response vehicles.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in mechanical repair and maintenance, with a focus on diesel engine systems, hydraulics, air conditioning, electrical systems, and brake systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on heavy equipment and emergency response vehicles, including engine systems, electrical systems, air conditioning, brakes, and hydraulics.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as fluid changes, filter replacements, and component inspections.
  • Collaborate with the team to troubleshoot complex issues and develop effective repair solutions.
Requirements:
  • 3 years of experience as a professional mechanic preferred.
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve mechanical issues efficiently.
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and various hand and power tools.
Compensation Package

The estimated annual salary for this position is $70,000-$85,000, depending on experience. Additional benefits include health insurance, paid holidays, and a retirement program.
