We are seeking licensed therapists who are passionate about providing long-term relationship solutions to couples and families in their community. If this describes you, we may have a fantastic opportunity for you as our marriage and family therapist.
Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive intake and needs assessments for individuals, significant others, and family members through testing, interviews, observations, and conversation sessions
- Maintain accurate, thoroughly documented patient records with a quality of documentation that meets facility and licensing standards
- Deliver mental health services to families, couples, individuals, and children by employing solution-focused counseling techniques
- Attend and participate in weekly scheduled Clinical Team meetings and collaborate with community agencies
- Plan, carry out, and assess therapeutic treatment programs for each patient individually
- Additional certifications required: CPR, BLS (Basic Life Support)
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities, as well as outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, are needed
- Current and unrestricted state license as an LMFT (licensed marriage and family therapist) or equivalent
- 1-3 years in a clinical setting counseling couples and families is required
- Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent and a bachelor's degree in counseling, social work, or related field; preference to those with a master's degree
- Must have experience providing therapy in a clinical setting
- Must have an unrestricted state license with the BBS to practice in CA
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities, as well as outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, are needed
