Truck Mechanic

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Truck Mechanic to join our team at Republic Services. As a Truck Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing repair and maintenance work on diesel and non-diesel equipment and trucks, including chassis components, vehicle refuse bodies, and control systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform repair and maintenance work on diesel and non-diesel equipment and trucks.
• Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations.
• Work with a team to ensure timely completion of repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and techniques in the field.

Requirements:

• 1+ year of experience in a technician position, demonstrating knowledge of both gasoline and diesel powered equipment diagnosis and repair.
• Ability to perform basic inspections with limited supervision in heavy truck or automotive systems.
• Valid Driver's License.
