Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Bakery Associate to join our team at K-VA-T Food Stores Inc. As a Bakery Associate, you will be responsible for ensuring efficient and courteous customer service, maintaining a positive attitude, and creating a friendly atmosphere in our bakery department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide prompt and courteous customer service to customers in the bakery department.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the display case and surrounding area.
• Prepare and produce high-quality baked goods, including cakes, cupcakes, and cookies.
• Decorate specialty cakes and cupcakes using photo cake computers and other equipment.
• Take telephone orders for food and specialty cakes.
• Assist in maintaining product inventory and ordering.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Food Service experience a plus, but not required.
• Ability to meet standard Physical, Mental, and Visual demands.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and/or written instructions, perform routine and repetitive tasks, and have constant contact/interaction with various levels of individuals on a daily basis.
• Ability to attend on-site work during scheduled shifts to adhere to company time and attendance policies.
