LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal Specialist to join our clients team in Portland, Oregon. As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in supporting the litigation process by handling all aspects of trial preparation, drafting discovery requests and subpoenas, conducting background and factual investigations, and analyzing and creating summaries of medical records/chronologies.
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of litigation experience, with a strong background in reviewing medical records. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely preparation of trial materials, including pleadings, exhibits, and witness statements. Your exceptional communication skills and attention to detail will enable you to effectively collaborate with attorneys, clients, and other stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes.
This is a hybrid position, requiring 2 days of in-office work and 3 days of remote work. The salary range for this position is $65,000-$85,000 per year, depending on experience. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, and long-term disability, as well as a 401(k) plan and paid time off.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handling all aspects of trial preparation, including researching and compiling relevant documents and data.
- Drafting discovery requests and subpoenas, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Conducting background and factual investigations, utilizing research skills to gather and analyze information.
- Analyzing and creating summaries of medical records/chronologies, identifying key issues and trends.
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of litigation experience, preferably in Oregon or Washington.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to effectively collaborate with attorneys, clients, and other stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize deadlines.
- Proficient in using technology, including Microsoft Office and document management systems.
