We are offering a highly competitive annual salary of $70,000 to $80,000 based on experience.


Job Overview

Motocruit is seeking an exceptional Senior Structural Repair Technician to join our team. As a key member of our automotive repair team, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring vehicles with structural damage using advanced techniques and specialized tools.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough assessments of structural damage on vehicles to determine the scope of repairs needed.
  • Disassemble damaged vehicles to assess the extent of structural damage and identify any hidden damage.
  • Repair and rebuild vehicle frames to factory specifications using specialized tools and techniques.
  • Align frames and suspension systems to ensure proper vehicle handling and safety.
  • Replace damaged body panels and parts with new or used parts, depending on the customer's preference and budget.
  • Utilize specialized welding techniques to repair damaged metal parts, including MIG, TIG, and resistance welding.
  • Utilize computerized measuring systems to ensure proper alignment and repairs.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and customers to ensure clear understanding of repair needs and timelines.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area and adhere to safety guidelines and procedures at all times.
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest automotive technology and repair techniques.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in auto body repair, with an emphasis on structural repairs.
  • Knowledge of welding techniques and use of specialized tools and equipment.
  • Experience in frame and suspension alignment.
  • Ability to read and interpret repair orders and technical manuals.
  • Attention to detail and quality workmanship.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Relevant certification(s) such as ASE Structural Technician or I-CAR Gold Class certification is preferred.
  • Experience utilizing Car-O-Liner, Chief, Genesis, or Celette highly preferred.
