Dr Lane & Associates is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Traveling Orthodontic Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our orthodontic team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support to our orthodontists in designated practices.
Key Responsibilities- Patient Care: Assist the orthodontist in rendering patient care, reinforcing oral hygiene and at-home care instructions for orthodontic appliances, and preparing patients for treatment.
- Operatory Management: Maintain inventory control, clean and prepare the operatory after treatment procedures, and ready tray set-ups for procedures.
- Administrative Tasks: Monitor operatory supply levels, sterilize instruments, expose and develop radiographs, and utilize the iTero scanner for patient records.
- Inventory Management: Maintain the office dental supply inventory control system, the lab tracking system, and OSHA compliance.
- Certifications: Chairside Dental Assistant certificate (preferable) and State of NC X-Ray Certification.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift 15-20lbs.
- Computer Literacy: Proficiency in using computer systems and software.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
