Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Safety Manager to join our team at VPI Technology, a division of Ludlum Measurements Inc. As the ideal candidate, you will have a strong background in safety management, excellent communication skills, and a passion for promoting a culture of safety within our organization.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive safety program that meets OSHA and environmental regulations and industry standards.
  • Lead the corporate safety committee and provide guidance on safety best practices.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
  • Design and deliver safety training programs for employees and leadership.
  • Analyze incident data and develop recommendations for process improvements.
  • Oversee workers' compensation program and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote a proactive safety culture.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in occupational safety, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or industrial engineering.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in safety management within a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience as a safety leader or manager is preferred.
  • Certification such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or equivalent is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA standards and safety regulations.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
Estimated Salary: $85,000 - $115,000 per yearOur Benefits
