One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning, a part of Authority Brands Inc., is recognized as the leading expert in heating and cooling solutions in the Naples, FL region. We are currently looking for an HVAC Project Installation Supervisor who will play a crucial role in assisting the Manager with all facets of assigned HVAC installation projects. This includes direct oversight for planning, coordinating, and managing the activities of the installation team; ensuring a workforce that aligns with business demands; scheduling projects to guarantee profitability, timely completion, and utmost customer satisfaction; and effectively communicating installation details to relevant personnel for successful project execution. Additionally, this role involves the management and development of team members to foster a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise the creation and completion of installation job packets, ensuring:
  • All forms in job folders are complete and accurate.
  • Materials are ordered correctly to fulfill each installation.
  • Installation crews are assigned to each job in collaboration with the Manager.
  • Inventory management, including tracking unused materials and returning or reusing items as necessary.
  • Prioritize safety and quality by conducting monthly safety meetings, regular job site inspections, and vehicle inspections.
  • Assist sales staff in assessing suitable products and pricing for clients.
  • Conduct pre-installation inspections to facilitate ease of installation, control material costs, and ensure the safety of the installation team.
  • Obtain necessary company certifications as required.
  • Engage in all company-sponsored training sessions.
  • Support the development of training schedules for departmental employees.
  • Manage conflict resolution with clients through effective communication, addressing all concerns and inquiries promptly.
  • Participate in the recruitment process and assist with interviews for potential hires in the department.
Qualifications:
  • GED or High School Diploma.
  • A minimum of 10 years of verifiable experience in HVAC for residential, light commercial, and sheet metal applications.
  • EPA certification is mandatory.
  • Understanding of the operational fundamentals of residential and light commercial heating, air conditioning, and ventilation systems.
  • Familiarity with the layout and installation requirements for residential and light commercial HVAC systems.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of current HVAC products, including thermostats and indoor air quality products.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
