Position Overview:
As a vital member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for the proficient interpretation of clinical information to meet the radiological needs of our patients. Your role will involve:
- Executing precise imaging techniques to ensure optimal patient positioning in accordance with physician orders.
- Maintaining a high level of awareness regarding radiation exposure, ensuring safety for both patients and staff.
- Applying sterile techniques and adhering to safety protocols to safeguard the well-being of patients and colleagues.
- Utilizing mechanical skills to troubleshoot, calibrate, and maintain radiology equipment, minimizing the risk of operational failures.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:
- A completed accredited two-year Radiologic Technology program.
- A current Iowa Permit to Practice.
- Active registry status with the ARRT.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, or the ability to obtain it within three months of hire, from an approved organization.
- Proof of completion of Mandatory Reporter abuse training relevant to the population served within three months of hire.
