Job Summary:

The Regional Bakery Delivery Driver is responsible for operating company vehicles and equipment in a safe and professional manner to ensure prompt delivery of products to customers. This role requires excellent customer relations and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to read and write to complete all paperwork accurately.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate company vehicles in a safe and professional manner to scheduled destinations.
  • Utilize electronic logging devices to meet hours of service requirements set by the Department of Transportation.
  • Perform all customer service duties at the customer location, including product placement, check-in, and return of product and paperwork.
  • Maintain food and groceries at proper temperature in accordance with food safety standards.
Requirements:
  • CDL A license required; DOT certified.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Accredited truck driving school preferred. 1-2 years truck driving experience required. Customer service and reefer experience preferred.
  • Must be able to perform physical requirements exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly.
Working Conditions:

This position requires driving during overnight hours and is continually exposed to dust, noise, temperature extremes, dampness, vibrations, and equipment movement hazard.
