Key Responsibilities- Preoperative Preparation: Gather and prepare necessary supplies and equipment for surgical cases, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
- Perioperative Care: Provide individualized patient care, taking into account the patient's health status, age level, and surgery/procedure being performed.
- Operating Room Management: Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment in the operating room, adhering to hospital policies and standards.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work effectively with the surgical team, including surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure seamless patient care.
- Documentation and Reporting: Accurately document patient information, including medical history, medications, and treatment plans, and report any concerns or issues to the healthcare team.
- Education and Experience: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, RN license in good standing, and a minimum of one year of recent pediatric OR experience in a hospital setting.
- Certifications and Training: AHA BLS certification and PALS certification preferred.
