Investigator, PREA Compliance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Investigator, PREA Compliance Specialist to join our team at The GEO Group. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our clients and staff.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough and impartial investigations into alleged incidents of sexual abuse and harassment within our facilities.
- Prepare and submit comprehensive reports detailing the findings of each investigation, in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with our Contract Compliance PREA section and other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
- Participate in Sexual Abuse Incident Reviews and After Action Reviews to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Four (4) years of experience in a correctional setting, with a minimum of two (2) years of progressively responsible professional investigative experience.
- Ability to think logically and objectively, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear and concise reports and presentations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of discretion and confidentiality.
- Knowledge of the Prison Rape Elimination Act (PREA) and its requirements.
- Ability to obtain certification for training such as CPR, First Aid, and firearms.
