The OR team at Cedar Park Regional Medical Center provides a wide range of surgical and endoscopy procedures, including orthopedic, urology, plastics, gynecology, podiatry, ortho/spine, vascular, pain, and general surgery. Our highly skilled team of healthcare professionals is dedicated to delivering high-quality services and exceeding patient expectations.
Responsibilities
As a PRN Operating Room RN, your responsibilities will include:
- Evaluating patients and planning, implementing, and documenting nursing care
- Performing patient tests and administering medications within the scope of practice
- Promoting patient independence through education and goal-setting
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must meet the following requirements:
- A minimum of an ADN from an accredited program, with a BSN preferred
- A valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Texas or a compact state
- Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS
- At least 1-2 years of experience in perioperative nursing in an acute care hospital OR
