As a Caregiving Professional - Resident Care Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring our residents receive the highest level of care. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing routine daily nursing care and services to residents, following their assessment and care plan, and as directed by supervisors;
  • Using wristband or photo card file to identify residents before administering treatments, serving meals, etc.;
  • Recording all entries on flow sheets, notes, charts, etc., in an informative and descriptive manner;
  • Reporting all changes in the resident's condition to the Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse as soon as practical;
  • Notifying the facility when you will be late or absent from work;
  • Ensuring that departmental computer workstations left unattended are properly logged off or the password protected automatic screen-saver activates within established facility policy guidelines.
