Southwest Research Institute is seeking a highly skilled Research Engineer to support our efforts in developing advanced AI solutions for electronic warfare. As a member of our team, you will work closely with domain experts to design and implement cutting-edge AI/ML concepts that address real-world problems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with EW domain SMEs to develop AI solutions that meet the needs of our clients.
  • Interface with USAF and DoD level AI research organizations to stay at the forefront of AI applied to EW.
  • Design and execute internal research projects related to AI applied to EW.
  • Develop and maintain expertise in programming languages such as C++, C#, and Python.
  • Requires a Master's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Relevant digital signal processing coursework or experience, preferably in the EW or RF realm.
  • Coursework in Artificial Intelligence and/or experience with a preferred emphasis on applied AI/ML to signal processing.
  • Preferred experience with AI tools such as Python, MATLAB, and Lava, as well as programming languages such as Python, C++, and C#.
  • A valid driver's license is required.
