Job Overview
Fulfilling a vital role at TruGreen, the Senior Fleet Mechanic will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and maintenance of our production equipment and fleet vehicles. This position requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities. With a focus on preventative maintenance and repairs, you will play a crucial part in keeping our operations running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform scheduled and preventative maintenance on production equipment, fleet vehicles, and specialized equipment
- Diagnose and repair complex issues with tractors, forklifts, small engines, and other specialized equipment
- Maintain accurate records of service and repairs in an electronic management system
- Collaborate with vendors and local service providers for outsourced maintenance
- Develop and execute preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and optimize efficiency
- Manage maintenance budget and resources effectively

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; 5 years of automotive mechanic experience preferred
- ASE Certification and/or completion of an Automotive Technology Program from a certified school required
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating manuals, and procedure guides
- Ability to operate independently and collaboratively within a team environment

Compensation:
$34,365 - $68,728 annually, depending on qualifications and experience. Benefits include Medical/Dental/Vision insurance, Company-matching 401(k), and other programs and perks.
