Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Engineering Inspector I to join our team in the City of Edmond.
This role involves conducting field inspections on various construction sites, including streets, storm sewers, driveways, sidewalks, and other infrastructure.
As an Engineering Inspector I, you will be responsible for inspecting the quality and grade of materials used in construction, preparing reports and maintaining records on inspection activity, and inspecting the installation of water and sanitary sewer lines and fire hydrants.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- 2 years of related experience and/or training
- Valid Oklahoma driver's license and acceptable driving record
Necessary Skills:
- Ability to meet physical standards for this position
- Passing extensive background process and pre-employment drug and audio screenings
