Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Class A CDL Truck Driver to join our team at County Prestress & Precast, LLC. As a Girder Driver, you will be responsible for transporting precast concrete girders to construction sites while ensuring compliance with DOT regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interface with clients to provide exceptional customer service
  • Perform pre-trip, post-trip, and in-route inspections on equipment and securement devices
  • Properly secure loads prior to transport, adhering to DOT regulations
  • Operate tractor-trailer combinations safely and efficiently
  • Transport products while maintaining compliance with DOT regulations
  • Participate in loading and unloading of girders
  • Perform route surveys prior to delivery
  • Ensure cleanliness and good operating condition for assigned tractor
  • Receive work assignments and report back on job completion
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers
Work Environment

As a Girder Driver, you will work in various outdoor weather conditions, including extreme temperatures. You will also work near moving machinery and equipment in a noisy environment.

Requirements
  • High school education or equivalent
