Goshen Baptist Church exists to introduce people to Christ, help them mature in their relationship with God, and enable them to effectively impact the lives of others for the Savior both here and throughout the world.
We are a diverse collection of people who have grown up in different decades, in various religious traditions, and with a wide array of life experiences. We have been bound together out of our common experience of the redeeming love of Jesus Christ. Unity of the body is enriched as we stand together at the foot of the cross.

The Role.
The Worship Pastor/Director is a member of the professional staff of the church. We are seeking a part-time Worship Pastor/Director (up to 20 hours per week), but we will also consider full-time candidates with additional ministry responsibilities dependent upon the interests and gifting of the candidate and the needs of the church.
Accountability to the church is through the Elders and is implemented under the direction of the Senior Pastor.
Responsibilities include:
Plan, coordinate and implement the worship and music elements of regular and other occasional worship services.
Develop and equip lay leaders, and build up and expand worship and music teams and tech teams.
Spiritual Prerequisites:
The candidate should actively renew his soul by spending time in Scripture, personal worship, and prayer, and relational accountability.
The candidate must have deeply rooted doctrinal beliefs and ministry values that are consistent with those of the church as stated in the Church's Statement of Faith and Philosophy of Worship and Music.
Qualifications and Skills:
Has experience in and senses a clear calling from God into ministry.
Strong musical skills (vocal and primary instrument).
Relevant music and leadership experience.
Team oriented.
Has demonstrated strong organizational, team building, interpersonal, and professional skills.
