Job Opportunity: School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Job Summary: Soliant is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our school team. This role involves providing speech and language therapy to students, conducting assessments, and developing individualized education programs (IEPs). While experience in a school setting is preferred, Clinical Fellows (CF) are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Comprehensive Evaluations: Perform thorough speech and language evaluations to identify students' communication needs.
  • Treatment Planning: Create and implement personalized treatment plans and IEPs to support students' communication goals.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with teachers, parents, and school staff to ensure students receive comprehensive support.
  • Therapy Sessions: Provide individual and group therapy sessions to students, addressing their unique communication needs.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and timely records of services provided, ensuring seamless communication with stakeholders.
  • IEP Meetings: Attend IEP meetings to help set educational goals for students and ensure their communication needs are met.

Requirements:

  • Education: Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Licensure: State licensure or eligibility for state licensure as an SLP.
  • Certification: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred but not required for CF applicants.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a school setting is highly desirable.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
