About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Per Diem MRI Technologist to join our team at Mount Sinai Hospital. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for operating Computed Tomography (CT) scanner or Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) equipment to capture high-quality images that aid in patient diagnoses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform basic to highly complex MRI/CAT scans according to established protocols.
  • Capture images onto PACS Systems and transfer images to physician workstations.
  • Evaluate images prior to release to ensure quality.
  • Participate in performance and documentation of quality control measures.
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort, as well as maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the work area and equipment.
Requirements
  • Completion of an accredited Radiology Program.
  • DOH certification to inject IV contrast.
  • 0-2 years experience as a CT/MRI technician.
