Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse to join our team at EliteCare Medical Staffing. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our medical staff to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Assume responsibility for the application of the nursing process and delivery of patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse.
  • Perform focused interviews to identify specific patient needs and assess signs and symptoms indicating physiological changes in the patient's condition.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data from healthcare team members and document actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.
  • Develop and implement individualized plans of care to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Provide a safe, comfortable, and therapeutic environment for patients and initiate and evaluate patient and/or family education.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to revise the plan of care based on evaluation, changes in medical plans, and effectiveness/ineffectiveness of interventions.
  • Document the patient's response to nursing and other interventions and use clinical judgment in evaluation activities to meet patient care needs.
Requirements
  • Current practical/vocational nurse license.
  • Full command, verbal and written, of the English language.
  • Current physical and PPD as per facility requirements.
  • Prefer a minimum of one year of facility staffing experience within the last three years.
  • Current BLS card.
  • Successful completion of screening tests with a score of 70% or greater.
