Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Baker II to join our team at the University of Arizona. As a key member of our production kitchen, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality baked goods, decorated cakes, and pastries for our restaurants and catering services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Produce high-quality, fresh products, including baked goods, decorated cakes, and pastries
  • Decorate, design, and finish cakes and pastries for restaurants and catering
  • Prepare and bake dough and batter according to recipes
  • Ensure orders are prepared accurately and efficiently
  • Develop and implement new recipes and menu items
  • Coordinate bakery requirements with other departments
  • Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and personal hygiene procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience required
  • Experience operating commercial food service equipment preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
