We are seeking a highly skilled Baker II to join our team at the University of Arizona. As a key member of our production kitchen, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality baked goods, decorated cakes, and pastries for our restaurants and catering services.
Key Responsibilities- Produce high-quality, fresh products, including baked goods, decorated cakes, and pastries
- Decorate, design, and finish cakes and pastries for restaurants and catering
- Prepare and bake dough and batter according to recipes
- Ensure orders are prepared accurately and efficiently
- Develop and implement new recipes and menu items
- Coordinate bakery requirements with other departments
- Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and personal hygiene procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience required
- Experience operating commercial food service equipment preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
