Door Greeter

As a Door Greeter at Black Sheep Sporting Goods, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, setting the tone for a positive and memorable shopping experience. Your primary responsibility will be to create a welcoming atmosphere, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring every customer feels valued and appreciated.

• Warm Welcome: Greet every customer with a friendly and enthusiastic welcome as they enter the store.
• Assistance: Offer assistance to customers by answering questions, providing information about store promotions, and guiding them to the appropriate departments or products.
• Crowd Management: Ensure that customers enter and exit the store in an orderly fashion, especially during peak hours or special events.
• Organization: Maintain a clean and organized entrance area, including sanitizing carts and baskets, and ensuring the cleanliness of the entryway.
• Lost and Found: Assist with lost and found items and direct customers to the appropriate location to retrieve their belongings.
• Customer Feedback: Collect and report customer feedback, suggestions, and complaints to store management.
• Security Awareness: Maintain awareness of store security protocols and assist in monitoring for any suspicious activity, reporting it to store security or management.
• Special Events: Assist in the organization and execution of special store events, such as promotions, product launches, or holiday sales.
• Customer Engagement: Engage with customers in a friendly and helpful manner, creating a positive shopping experience.

• Exceptional customer service skills.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm and composed in busy or high-stress situations.
• Basic knowledge of store layout and product offerings (training will be provided).
• Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform light lifting when needed.

Working hours may vary, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on store needs. Part-time and full-time positions are available.
