Precision Metalwork Specialist

About the Job
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our client's team in Narragansett. As a key member of the production team, you will be responsible for operating milling machines and lathes to produce precision parts and instruments. In addition to your technical skills, you will need to have excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments
- Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and engineering specifications
- Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment
- Monitor the feed and speed of machines during the machining process
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machines or tools

Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Machinist
- Proficient in operating milling machines and lathes
- Skilled in using calipers and other precision measuring instruments
- Experience with programming and operating CNC machines
- Knowledge of tooling selection and setup for different machining operations
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, including geometric dimensioning and tolerancing

What We Offer
Our company offers a competitive salary range of $70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.
