Certified Nursing Assistant Position

Compensation: $12.50/hr plus a $2/hr bonus for compliance with mobile app usage

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in organizing household items
- Perform basic housekeeping duties (sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, mopping)
- Manage clothing care (washing, drying, ironing, and organizing)
- Assist with bathing (bed or tub bath, sponge bath, shower, or sit bath)
- Support clients with dressing
- Provide hair, skin, and nail care (cleaning under nails, painting, filing – cutting nails is not permitted)
- Assist with mouth care (including dentures)
- Make occupied or unoccupied beds
- Support mobility with or without assistive devices
- Assist with shaving
- Facilitate prescribed range of motion exercises
- Help with transfers using mechanical devices as needed
- Ensure proper food handling and storage
- Prepare clients for meals and assist with feeding
- Monitor and record vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, heart rate, respiration) and blood sugar levels
- Assist clients with bedpan/urinal needs
- Support bowel/bladder retraining
- Observe and report on self-administered medications
- Apply/remove prosthetic devices for stable clients
- Apply bandages and heat/cold treatments as prescribed
- Change non-sterile dressings
- Care for non-infected pressure ulcers
- Assist clients in understanding medical orders and encourage adherence
- Recognize and report signs of abuse, neglect, or illness
- Provide basic first aid as necessary
- Respond to emergencies in accordance with company policy
- Assist clients in accessing community services
- Offer companionship and emotional support
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Candidates must have completed a Board of Nursing approved training program for Nursing Assistants and be listed in the Nurse Aide Registry. Must be at least 18 years old for employment.
Experience Required:
- 0-6 months of relevant experience
