Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Pediatric Hospitalist to join our team at Physician Empire in Central Texas. As a Pediatric Hospitalist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to infants, children, and adolescents in a fast-paced hospital setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide medical care to patients in the hospital, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute and chronic conditions
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including pediatricians, surgeons, and specialists, to ensure comprehensive care
- Develop and implement treatment plans, including ordering medications and performing procedures as needed
- Communicate effectively with patients and families to ensure understanding of treatment plans and outcomes
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
Requirements:
- Board certification or eligibility in Pediatrics
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of pediatric medicine
Location:
Our hospital is located in Central Texas, approximately 60 miles north of Austin. The area offers a low cost of living, excellent schools, and a range of outdoor recreational activities. We are proud to be part of the 5th fastest growing Texas MSA.
