Position Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Neurosurgeon to become a vital part of our medical team at The Core Institute.

The ideal candidate will focus on diagnosing and managing conditions affecting the nervous system, including the brain, spinal cord, and peripheral nerves.

Our practice encompasses neurosurgery trauma and hospital call responsibilities across several major healthcare facilities. Elective procedures are conducted at a specialized private practice hospital.

As a Neurosurgeon, you will work alongside a diverse team to ensure high-quality patient care, perform surgical interventions, and engage in research and educational initiatives within the field.

Key Responsibilities:

Clinical Assessment:
Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify neurological disorders.
Order and analyze diagnostic imaging, including MRIs and CT scans.
Formulate and execute individualized treatment strategies.

Surgical Procedures:
Execute intricate surgical operations on the brain, spine, and peripheral nerves.
Employ cutting-edge surgical methods to treat neurological issues.
Collaborate with anesthesiology and surgical teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Provide empathetic and thorough care to patients with neurological challenges.
Monitor recovery and modify treatment plans as needed.
Educate patients and their families regarding medical conditions and available treatments.
Work in close partnership with other healthcare professionals, including neurologists and rehabilitation experts.
Participate in interdisciplinary meetings to review patient cases and treatment approaches.
Foster a supportive and collaborative workplace culture.

Research and Professional Development:
Engage in ongoing research projects related to neurosurgery.
Stay informed about the latest advancements in surgical techniques and technologies.

Qualifications:

Educational Background:
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
Board certification in Neurosurgery is required.
Completion of a fellowship program.

Licensure:
Possession of a current and valid medical license.

Experience:
Demonstrated experience as a practicing Neurosurgeon.
Proven expertise in a variety of neurosurgical techniques.

All subspecialties are welcome, with particular interest in spine, tumor, or endovascular surgery as we aim to expand these areas.
