Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team at Fresenius Medical Care North America. As an Interventional Radiology Technologist, you will play a critical role in supporting our physicians in performing various interventional radiology procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare patients and procedure rooms for radiology procedures in compliance with FMCNA policies and procedures.
  • Review patient-specific procedure orders to determine necessary materials and supplies.
  • Set up and stock procedure rooms and procedure trays with necessary supplies and equipment.
  • Conduct patient preparations, including positioning, shaving, and prepping.
  • Assist physicians during interventional procedures under fluoroscopy, maintaining a sterile technique.
  • Process x-ray images and archive them to comply with FMCNA policies and procedures.
  • Provide outstanding quality of patient care by supporting and driving FMCNA quality standards.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma required; Associate's Degree desirable; and Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred.
  • Must have ARRT Certification and be a licensed Radiology Technician by the Department of Health.
  • 6 years' related experience desirable, with at least 1 year of experience desirable for candidates with ARRT Certifications.
Working Conditions:

The work environment is characteristic of a health care facility with air temperature control and moderate noise levels. May be exposed to infectious and contagious diseases/materials. Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds and perform patient transfers and positioning of patients up to 400 pounds.

10% Travel.
