About the Role:

The CT Technologist will be responsible for operating CT scanners to produce high-quality images of the body's internal structures. You will work closely with radiologists to develop and implement CT scan protocols, and provide patient instruction on procedure methods. Additionally, you will inject IV contrast for organ enhancement, perform routine quality control procedures, and train radiology students and technologists in essential CT duties.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate CT scanners to produce high-quality images of the body's internal structures
  • Develop and implement CT scan protocols in collaboration with radiologists
  • Provide patient instruction on procedure methods
  • Inject IV contrast for organ enhancement
  • Perform routine quality control procedures
  • Train radiology students and technologists in essential CT duties
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an ARRT-approved School of Radiologic Technology or Nuclear Medicine Technology
  • 2 years of experience working as a Computed Tomography Technologist
  • BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA)
  • State of California Certified Radiologic Technologist or Certified Tech Nuclear Medicine
  • ARRT Computed Tomography or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board Computed Tomography
