Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the complete accounting cycle for clients, which includes Accounts Payable and Receivable, banking operations, account reconciliations, payroll processing, and financial reporting.
  • Generate precise periodic reports for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy.
  • Maintain fixed asset schedules and oversee all project financial records for auditing and tax compliance.
  • Conduct cost analyses by interpreting financial data related to projects.
  • Identify and report any financial risks or budget discrepancies to management.
  • Review Indirect and Selling, General and Administrative (SGA) accounts for unusual or excessive activities on a monthly basis.
  • Collaborate with external CPA firms for tax reporting obligations.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years of accounting experience within the construction sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction cost accounting and associated financial practices.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and at least one construction accounting software such as Sage 100, Foundation, or Spectrum.
  • Experience with large ERP systems like Sage 300, CMiC, Vista, or Procore is advantageous.
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
