Key Responsibilities
  • Safety and Quality: Safely perform operations, ensuring quality expectations are met throughout the process.
  • Logistics Support: Assist with sample logistics functions, including material movements in our enterprise resource planning system, bulk sampling, analytical weigh-ups, delivery to labs, sample retain management, shipping materials to outside labs, and more.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records, ensuring that all materials are properly stored and tracked.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Contribute to the maintenance of equipment, including cleaning, calibrating, and performing routine checks to ensure optimal performance.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Effectively communicate with other departments, including warehouse, manufacturing, and quality control, to ensure seamless operations.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and participate in initiatives to optimize efficiency and eliminate waste.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and complete records, consistent with quality guidelines, and ensure that all applicable logbooks are filled out as required.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in the Life or Physical Sciences, or Associate's Degree in a related field with 2+ years of experience in SAP or laboratory operations.
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in logistics, inventory management, or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and teamwork skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
