Job Title: Entry-Level Developmental Therapist

Soar Autism Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Developmental Therapist to join our interdisciplinary team. As a key member of our care model, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the lives of children on the autism spectrum.

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly motivated and empathetic individual to work closely with our team to design and implement individualized developmental plans, upholding the principles of the Early Start Denver Model (ESDM). Your primary responsibility will be to serve as the primary child caregiver, teaching new skills to the child in a 1:1 setting, ensuring their comprehensive growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage the child in a play-based routine, transforming everyday child care moments into opportunities for teaching and nurturing essential life skills
  • Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to design and implement individualized developmental plans, upholding the principles of the ESDM and maintaining fidelity to Soar's model
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with families, offering regular insights on their child's progress and providing guidance rooted in best child care practices
