We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Patient Care Technician to join our team at TRC Total Renal Care Inc. as a Certified Hemodialysis Technician in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to ensure safe, comfortable, and hygienic dialysis treatment.
- Work in conjunction with dialysis RNs to provide comprehensive care to patients.
- Monitor patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment, including measuring and recording vital signs and patient observations.
- Set up and operate hemodialysis machines, ensuring accurate and efficient treatment.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest dialysis techniques and technologies.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- CCHT certification required, with active and valid certification on the NNCC website.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Word and Outlook.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
