HVAC Controls Engineer

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Building Automation Technician to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will conduct preventive maintenance, repair, installation, and commissioning of systems, including complex control systems malfunctions. You will also be responsible for promoting the sale of add-on work, adhering to all Johnson Controls and customer safety standards, and providing safety awareness while working onsite with Johnson Controls subcontractors.

Main Tasks
- Conduct thorough site assessments and gather data to diagnose complex control systems malfunctions.
- Develop and implement plans for retrofits, upgrades, and enhancements to existing equipment, and assist sales by providing technical recommendations for sales leads.
- Ensure that all project and service documentation is completed accurately and on time. Provide excellent customer service to meet their needs and expectations.

Requirements
Vocational school graduate, Associate's degree in a technical field, or two years' experience in servicing electronic and/or mechanical systems. Demonstrated ability to install and/or service electronic control systems and HVAC equipment. Effective communication skills to represent Johnson Controls on customer sites. Possesses the ability to explain technical information to technical and non-technical people. Demonstrate effective writing skills as well as understanding of programs and software applications. Knowledge of control theory, automatic temperature controls, building automation systems, and other building subsystems.
