Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Nurse to join our team at Methodist Hospitals. As a Radiology Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced radiology environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and document patient needs, providing individualized care and education to patients and their families.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide direct patient care, including pre-procedural, intra-procedural, and post-procedural responsibilities.
  • Utilize the nursing process to provide care, demonstrating clinical and technical competence in imaging-related treatments and procedures.
  • Verify readiness of emergency equipment and implement medical management of patient care based on physician orders.
  • Administer medication and life-supporting drugs/treatments as indicated, under the supervision of a physician/radiologist.
Requirements
  • Associates degree in Nursing required; Licensed Registered Nurse certification preferred.
  • Certified in Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support.
  • Board certification by a nationally recognized association approved by Methodist Hospitals.
