Tetra Tech is seeking an experienced Civil / Water Resources Engineer to join our team in Salt Lake City, UT. As a senior hydrologist, you will play a key role in developing water resource-related engineering designs and leading projects commensurate with your training and experience.
About the Role:
- You will manage projects involving hydrological and hydraulic modeling, stormwater conveyance and retention/detention design, and open channel flow, erosion, and sediment control.
- Develop engineering designs, prepare reports and technical memorandums, and estimate project costs.
- Collaborate with our team of scientists and engineers to provide smart, scalable solutions for challenging projects.

What We Offer:
- A competitive salary range of $95,000 - $135,000 per year, depending on experience.

Requirements:
- B.S. Civil Engineering with a water resources focus or a related field, M.S. preferred.
- 3-8+ years of civil engineering work experience, advanced degree may substitute for experience.
- Proficiency in hydrologic modeling, hydraulic analysis, and civil design programs such as HEC, AutoCAD/Civil3D, SWMM, HY-8, etc.
- Strong problem-solving, time management, and written and verbal communication skills.
