The Defense Health Agency Civilian Corps is seeking a highly skilled Physician (Psychiatry) to join our team at Joint Base San Antonio. As a key member of our Psychiatry Service, you will provide expert medical direction and supervision to our team of healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities- Provide psychiatric care to patients with complex and multifaceted problems, including PTSD, psychosis, and bipolar disorder.
- Collaborate with physicians in other medical specialties to develop treatment plans and provide therapeutic services.
- Direct Quality Assurance studies and make decisions that impact the lives of others, such as recommending hospitalization or determining a service member's fitness for duty.
- Participate in training and education programs to enhance your skills and knowledge in psychiatry.
- Board Certified/Eligible in Psychiatry
- Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy from a school in the United States or Canada approved by a recognized accrediting body
- Permanent, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in a State, District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States
